Soccer Game Preview: North Yarmouth Academy vs. Cape Elizabeth

The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Cape Elizabeth Capers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cape Elizabeth will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: North Yarmouth Academy extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand Old Orchard Beach a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for ELLIE SEELY as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cape Elizabeth). They put the hurt on York with a sharp 9-1 win on Tuesday. With Cape Elizabeth ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Cape Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for North Yarmouth Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
