Rappahannock's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles by a score of 8-4. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rappahannock's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Fredericksburg Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Rappahannock will face off against Warhill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they will challenge Colonial Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Drifters have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.25 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
