On Thursday, Santa Maria had to settle for second even though Evelin Roman put up the best numbers she has all season. Roman posted six points along with nine steals and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.1 steals per game. Those nine steals gave her a new career-high.
