Volleyball Recap: Morrow Finds Home Court Redemption Against Langston Hughes

There's no place like home for Morrow, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past the Langston Hughes Panthers 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

In the two sets Morrow was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-13, 15-4.

Zarriah Hollinger paced Morrow's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hollinger got some help from Jaiden Cox and her 13 assists. Sivananda Arun controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Morrow's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Langston Hughes, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Morrow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Newnan on the 9th. As for Langston Hughes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against McIntosh on the 9th.
