Softball Preview: Oroville Tigers vs. Marysville Indians
The Oroville Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Marysville Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Oroville will be strutting in after a victory while Marysville will be coming in after a defeat.
Oroville took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over CORE Butte. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Lyndsey Cook (Kaylor) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.
