Hamburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 58-51 to the Monticello Billies. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hamburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Monticello, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamburg will welcome Crossett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monticello, they will host Watson Chapel at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
