Recap: Kinston Vikings vs. J.H. Rose Rampants
The Kinston Vikings won the last time they faced the J.H. Rose Rampants, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kinston had just enough and edged J.H. Rose out 47-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kinston.
Several Rampants players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Daise, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Daise's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Amarriah Brown was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 4 steals.
Kinston now has a winning record of 3-2. As for J.H. Rose, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Kinston will head out on the road to face off against West Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully West Carteret focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Monday. As for J.H. Rose, they will be playing at home against Fike at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
