Volleyball Recap: Saegertown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eisenhower on Tuesday, Saegertown came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Corry Beavers on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Beavers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Among those leading the charge was Sydney Mineo, who had eight digs and two aces.

Saegertown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Corry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 32-1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Beavers beat Saegertown by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.
