Basketball Recap: Sylvania Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sylvania can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 63-44 to the Saint James Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Trojans are ranked eighth).

Sylvania's loss dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Saint James, the win (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 35-2.

While Sylvania had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
