Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hill Billies vs. Sisters Outlaws

Pleasant Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sisters Outlaws. The Billies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Outlaws apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Judah Kelso and Landon Kelley did some serious damage despite the final result: Kelso went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Kelley got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb VanOrdstrand, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Pleasant Hill's loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Sisters, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pleasant Hill will take on rival Elmira at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sisters is set to square off against their familiar foe La Pine at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
