Volleyball Recap: Rolling Hills Prep Comes Up Short at Home Against New Roads

Rolling Hills Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Roads Jaguars on Thursday. The Huskies have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

New Roads pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rolling Hills Prep is set to challenge their familiar foe Vistamar at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Roads will face off against rival Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
