Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Fighting Zebras vs. Mira Loma Matadors

The Lincoln Fighting Zebras will face off against the Mira Loma Matadors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Lincoln is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Oakmont: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lincoln blew Oakmont out of the water with a 76-44 final score. The Fighting Zebras have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mira Loma was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 52-48 to Colfax. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Mira Loma, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
