Cloverdale is 9-1 against Kelseyville since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Knights at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Cloverdale proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Bragg, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won three in a row.

Camryn Bird made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bird was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other pitching news, Cloverdale got a great performance from Charlotte Burchett as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Burchett has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Bird wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emerson Reasoner, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Kelseyville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They skirted past the Cardinals 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 26, 2024.

Cloverdale's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Kelseyville, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-6.

Cloverdale took their victory against Kelseyville when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
