Southside was sadly handed a defeat on Monday, but Landon Simmons did his best to prevent it. Simmons posted nine points and five rebounds with a three-point shooting accuracy of 75%, which was good enough to set a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy in the process. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 42.9% three-point shooting accuracy.

Looking ahead, Simmons and Southside will face off against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will pit Simmons up against the Rams' star forward Kmajay Jenkins.
