Basketball Recap: Falmouth Comes Up Short

Falmouth was the 42-41 winner over Deering when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Falmouth Navigators took a blow against the Deering Rams on Saturday, falling 49-20. The Navigators just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Falmouth's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Deering, they moved to 1-4 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falmouth and Kennebunk will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kennebunk will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Falmouth surely won't give up without a fight. As for Deering, they will square off against Bangor at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
