Soccer Recap: Centennial Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Centennial lost to Hillsboro back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cougars won by a goal and slipped past the Burros 2-1. Ava Price had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Centennial.

With the win, Centennial broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Hillsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Valor College Prep on the 3rd. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Hunters Lane on the 2nd.
