Softball Game Preview: Foley Lions vs. West Florida Jaguars

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Foley Lions duke it out with West Florida Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Foley has given up an average of 14.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Foley came into their game last Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Elberta, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

West Florida had taken Milton down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. West Florida lost 11-4 to Milton.

West Florida's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Foley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
