Soccer Recap: LEAD Academy Comes Up Short

LEAD Academy lost against Valor College Prep back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, LEAD Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Valor College Prep are ranked 75th).

LEAD Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Valor College Prep, they pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LEAD Academy will welcome Stem Preparatory Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valor College Prep, they will challenge Green Hill at 7:00 p.m. on October 2.
