Softball Recap: Palmerton Comes Up Short

Palmerton was the 10-1 winner over Notre Dame-Green Pond when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Bombers came up short against the Crusaders on Thursday, falling 13-3. The Blue Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palmerton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TESSA SANDER, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Palmerton's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, their record now sits at 8-2.

Coincidentally, Palmerton and Notre Dame-Green Pond will both be playing Wilson Area the next time they take the field. The Blue Bombers will head out to face the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Crusaders will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
