Basketball Recap: Cotton Center Takes a Loss

Cotton Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-30 defeat at the hands of the Wilson Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-30 back in November of 2024.

Cotton Center's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wilson, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Cotton Center is taking a road trip to take on Meadow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson, they will face off against Southland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson is facing Southland at the right time seeing as Southland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
