Softball Recap: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Victorious

While Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's win against Yellow Medicine East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Sting on Monday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Sting recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Yellow Medicine East, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will take on Adrian/Ellsworth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yellow Medicine East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
