Football Recap: Irving Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Irving extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Lake Highlands Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 946th, while the Wildcats are ranked 128th).

Elijah Garcia threw for 40 yards on one of five attempts. On the ground, Henry Duenas rushed for 54 yards.

As for Lake Highlands, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 23 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Mason Spangler, who picked up 54 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

As of now, neither Irving nor Lake Highlands have any future games scheduled.
