Softball Recap: Uniontown Takes a Loss

Connellsville hit Uniontown with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Raiders fell 8-3 to the Falcons. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Uniontown saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie White, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Connellsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Coming up, Uniontown will take on Frazier at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Connellsville, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North Allegheny on the 5th.
