Basketball Recap: Piedmont's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Piedmont fell 64-60 to Providence. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Piedmont of the 45-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2019.

Despite the loss, Piedmont still got an impressive performance from Bryan Little, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 boards. The game was Little's fourth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham Blackman, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

With the defeat, Piedmont broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Providence, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Piedmont will head out on the road to square off against Charlotte Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nation Ford at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
