Volleyball Recap: Westminster's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Westminster's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Alameda Pirates by a score of 3-1.

Westminster had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Westminster's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Alameda, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Coming up, Westminster will square off against Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Alameda, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Denver Waldorf on the 16th.
