Baseball Recap: Sperry Takes a Loss

Sperry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Kellyville Ponies.

Sperry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Mcguire, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Sperry's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kellyville, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

While Sperry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
