Basketball Recap: Neshaminy Comes Up Short

Neshaminy suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials and fell 78-39. The Skins haven't had much luck with the Colonials recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Several Skins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cadenn Amati, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Leiva, who put up nine points.

Leading Plymouth Whitemarsh to victory were Mani Sajid and Michael Pererira. Sajid went 15-for-27 en route to 36 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Pererira dropped a double-double with 23 points and 15 boards. The dominant performance also gave Pererira a new career-high in blocks (six). Another player making a difference was Jack Hayes, who scored four points and three steals.

Neshaminy's record now sits at 11-13. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Neshaminy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-45 defeat against Bensalem on the 21st. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they have also already played their next game, a 72-58 win against Garnet Valley on the 21st.
