The Howardsville Christian Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Eau Claire Beavers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Howardsville Christian came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Howardsville Christian's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Eau Claire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Brandywine.

Eau Claire's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Howardsville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-2.

Howardsville Christian took their victory against Eau Claire in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
