Basketball Recap: Washington-Liberty Takes a Loss

Washington-Liberty was the 82-55 winner over Herndon when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Washington-Liberty Generals lost 65-42 to the Herndon Hornets on Monday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington-Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Herndon, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington-Liberty will venture away from home to take on McLean at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington-Liberty is facing McLean at the right time seeing as McLean is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Herndon has already played their next matchup (against Langley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
