Chandler Prep has gone a perfect 6-0 against Arete Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Titans will host the CHARGERS at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Chandler Prep had taken Horizon Honors down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Titans fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-19 in the first set.
Chandler Prep actually scored more points across those five sets (106-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Arete Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gilbert Classical Academy. While the CHARGERS didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-21 in the first set.
Arete Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-18.
Arete Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Chandler Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.
Chandler Prep took their victory against Arete Prep in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the CHARGERS turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
