Baseball Recap: Analy Comes Up Short

Analy lost against Archie Williams back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Peregrine Falcons by a score of 4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunter Thomas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Wyatt O' Brien, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Analy's record now sits at 8-8. As for Archie Williams, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Analy will be playing at home against Healdsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archie Williams, they will head out to face off against San Rafael at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
