Volleyball Game Preview: Hickory Red Tornadoes vs. South Point Red Raiders

Hickory is on a 12-game streak of home wins, while South Point is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Red Tornadoes will host the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Wednesday, Hickory got the win against North Lincoln by a conclusive 3-0.

Hickory not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Lincoln between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, South Point made easy work of Parkwood on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

South Point's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Hickory, their victory bumped their record up to 30-4.
