Arkansas All-State Football Team presented by Suddenlink by Altice

In leading Pulaski Academy to a 12-2 record and a Class 5A state championship, Bratcher became the first Arkansas quarterback to guide an offense with over 9,000 total yards of total offense. His team also set a state record with 790 points for the season. As a result, Bratcher has been chosen the MaxPreps Arkansas State Player of the Year.

Bratcher heads the MaxPreps All-State Team presented by Suddenlink by Altice after throwing for 5,196 yards and 51 touchdowns. He finishes his career with 10,468 career passing yards, which ranks No. 8 all-time in state history, according to the Barclay Arkansas Almanac.

Buck James of Bryant is the Coach of the Year after leading the Hornets to their second straight Class 7A state championship. They'd never won a state championship in football until James became coach four years ago. Now they've won two, winning their first last year.



This year, Bryant has posted one of the best seasons in Arkansas history, posting a 13-0 record while winning 10 games with a running clock. Bryant knocked off North Little Rock 21-7 in the Class 7A state championship game. James is 43-8 in his four seasons with the Hornets.

SUDDENLINK BY ALTICE ARKANSAS ALL-STATE

Led the Bruins to the Class 5A state championship and led the nation in passing yardage with 5,196 yards. Had a high game of 764 yards and nine touchdowns. He threw for over 500 yards four times and finished with 51 touchdowns on the season.

QB — Eli Reece, Shiloh Christian (Springdale), 5-9, 165, Sr.
Reece has the Saints undefeated at 14-0 and in the Class 4A state championship game. He has thrown for 3,918 yards and 41 touchdowns on the season.

RB — Brandon Thomas, North Little Rock, 5-10, 190, Sr.
Despite missing five games of the season due to injuries, Thomas rushed for 1,225 yards and 16 touchdowns in leading North Little Rock to the Class 7A championship game.

RB — Jay Burns, Har-Ber (Springdale), 5-10, 175, Sr.
The leading rusher in Class 7A with 1,289 yards and 21 touchdowns.



WR — Jake Meaders, Bryant, 5-10, 172, Sr.
A candidate for the Farmers Insurance Class 7A/6A Offensive Player of the Year, Meaders caught 58 passes for 960 yards and 18 touchdowns for the state champions.

WR — Truitt Tollett, Shiloh Christian, 6-2, 179, Sr.
With the Class 4A state championship game still left to play, Tollett easily leads the state with 1,868 yards receiving on 117 catches and 29 touchdowns.

TE — Hayden Schrader, Bryant, 6-2, 195, Jr.
Playing wide receiver and tight end for the 7A state champions, Schrader caught 55 passes for 837 yards and nine touchdowns.

OL — Jaden Muskrat, Bentonville West (Centerton), 6-4, 275, Sr.
A standout on both sides of the line, Muskrat was a pancake machine in his first year on the offensive line.

OL — Chris Morris, West Memphis, 6-3, 287, Sr.
Ranked as the top offensive lineman in Arkansas by 247 Sports, Morris has committed to Texas A&M.

OL — Robert Scott, Conway, 6-6, 295, Sr.
Ranked as one of the top linemen in the state by 247 Sports, Scott has committed to Ole Miss.



OL — Erin Smith, North Little Rock, 6-5, 280, Sr.
Opened holes for all-state running back Brandon Thomas for the two-time Class 7A runners-up.

OL — Dalton Perdue, El Dorado, 6-7, 280, Sr.
Ranked as the No. 10 player in the state by 247 Sports, Perdue is headed to SMU.

AP — Jacolby Criswell, Morrilton, 6-0, 218, Sr.
The top dual-threat quarterback in the state threw for 2,869 yards and rushed for 1,282 yards. He threw 27 touchdown passes and ran for 24.

K — Isaiah Hankins, Little Rock Christian Academy, 6-0, 185, Jr.
Made 86-of-88 extra points and converted nine field goals to lead the state.
DL — Jashaud Stewart, Jonesboro, 6-2, 223, Sr.
Led the state in sacks with 17. Had 114 total tackles, including 23 tackles for loss.

DL — Blayne Toll, Hazen, 6-5, 244, Sr.
Also the team's quarterback, Toll dominated at defensive end for Hazen and will play the position in college at Arkansas.

DL — Chris Haywood, Foreman, 6-3, 260, Jr.
A small school standout, Haywood is turning heads after racking up 50 tackles for loss among his 81 total tackles. He also had 11 sacks for the Class 2A school.



DL — Brett Barbaree, Benton, 6-3, 250, Sr.
Led the Class 6A state finalists in sacks with 10 during the regular season. Also had nearly 20 tackles for loss.

LB — Chandler McIntosh, Robinson (Little Rock), 6-1, 210, Sr.
Led the state in tackles with 197, including 12 sacks and 45 tackles for loss.

LB — Jackson Woodard, Little Rock Christian Academy, 6-4, 205, Sr.
The defensive leader for LRC, Woodard was a player of the year nominee by Farmer's Insurance.

LB — Kendarrius Moore, West Memphis, 6-1, 211, Sr.
Two-way star helped lead West Memphis to the Class 6A state semifinals.

DB — Montay Parks, Northside (Fort Smith), 6-2, 175, Sr.
The interception leader in Class 7A with seven, Parks also had 57 tackles and a pick six.

DB — Taveon Williamson, Fayetteville, 5-11, 150, Sr.
A shutdown cornerback for the Bulldogs who had six interceptions on the season.



DB — PJ Hall, Robinson, 6-2, 180, Sr.
A standout on both sides of the line, Hall caught 51 passes for 1,083 yards and 17 touchdowns and also had 63 tackles on defense.

DB — Clay James, Pulaski Academy, 5-11, 170, Sr.
Among the state leaders in interceptions with nine. Also had 40 tackles and nine passes defensed.

AP — Kyren Harrison, Arkadelphia, 5-9, 180, Sr.
Besides rushing 1,463 yards and 32 touchdowns, Harrison was also solid on defense with 46 tackles, including seven for loss.

P — Bryce Dixon, Searcy, 6-0, 170, Sr.
In leading Searcy to the Class 6A state championship, Dixon threw for 4,001 yards and 43 touchdowns. Ranks as the top punter in the state with a 48.2 yard average.
Second Team

QB — Austin Ledbetter, Bryant, 6-1, 195, Jr.
The baseball standout led the Hornets to a 13-0 record while throwing for 3,322 yards and 43 touchdowns.

QB — Akeem Gilmore, LIttle Rock Christian Academy, 6-0, 180, Sr.
Led LRCA to the Class 5A state championship game, throwing for 2,235 yards and 22 touchdowns and also rushing for 778 yards and 12 touchdowns.



RB — Vincent Steppes, Warren, 5-10, 170, Sr.
Ran for 1,884 yards and 28 touchdowns and caught 23 passes for 481 yards and seven more scores.

RB — Kendel Givens, Little Rock Christian Academy
In leading LRCA to the Class 5A state championship game, Givens has rushed for 1,371 yards and 20 touchdowns.

WR — Hunter Wood, Har-Ber, 6-2, 185, Sr.
A Farmer's Insurance Offensive Player of the Year candidate, Wood caught 68 passes for 1,103 yards and 15 touchdowns.

WR — Chris Hightower, Little Rock Christian Academy, 6-0, 186, Sr.
Ranked as one of the state's top receivers by 247 Sports, Hightower had 47 catches for 998 yards and 12 touchdowns heading into the Class 5A championship game.

TE — Errington McRae, Har-Ber, 6-2, 230, Sr.
One of the top recruits in the state in the Class of 2021, McRae caught 41 passes for 801 yards and six touchdowns.

OL — Jaxson Sanders, White Hall, 6-2, 275, Sr.
A Division 1 talent who anchored the line for the Class 5A Bulldogs.



OL — Jason Lambel, Malvern, 6-4, 315, Sr.
Ranked as one of the top offensive guards in the state by 247 Sports.

OL — Ben Gann, Bentonville West (Centerton), 6-1, 260, Sr.
Team captain and returning all-state selection for BW.

OL — E'Marion Harris, Robinson, 6-6, 305, So.
Ranked as the top player in the state in the Class of 2022 by 247 Sports. Helped lead Robinson to the Class 4A state championship game.

OL — Jack Struebing, Har-Ber, 6-1, 260, So.
Continues to be a force for Har-Ber after earning all-state honors as a freshman.

AP — Caden Sipe, Harding Academy (Searcy), 6-0, 190, Jr.
Led the Wildcats to the Class 3A state championship and finished with 3,502 yards passing. His 56 touchdown passes led the state.

K — Jackson Stewart, Greenwood, 5-9, 170, Sr.
Among the state leaders in PAT (62) and field goals (6), Stewart is second in the state in kick scoring with 80 points. He has a long field goal of 41 yards.

DL — Austin Bailey, Bryant, 6-1, 260, Sr.
The top defender on the defensive line for the Hornets, Bailey had 49 tackles, seven sacks and nine tackles for loss.



DL — Terrian Harris, Conway, 6-1, 210, Sr.
Led the Wampus Cats with 15 sacks and had 70 total tackles.

DL — Rashad Muhammad, North Little Rock, 6-3, 260, Sr.
Missed part of the season due to a non-football related injury, but still helped North Little Rock reach the Class 7A championship game.

LB — Daylon Land, Bryant, 6-0, 200, Sr.
Led the Bryant defense with 85 tackles, including three sacks, one interception and eight tackles for loss.

LB — Brooks Both, Harrison, 6-0, 225, Sr.
A player of the year candidate for Class 5A, Both had 115 total tackles

LB — Cole Joyce, Bentonville, 6-0, 215, Jr.
One of the top juniors in the state, Joyce helped lead Bentonville to a 10-0 regular season.

LB — Futa Shinkawa, Pulaski Academy, 5-8, 155, Jr.
The leading tackler for Pulaski, Shinkawa earned all-state honors as a sophomore and had 140 tackles and 19 tackles for loss as a junior.



DB — JuJuan Boyd, Har-Ber, 5-11, 160, Sr.
A force in the secondary, Boyd picked off four passes and is ranked as one of the top defensive backs in the state by 247 Sports.

DB — Daniel Perry, Searcy, 5-9, 170, So.
Had seven interceptions on the season, including two in the state finals against Benton.

DB — Andre Sparks, Springdale, 6-0, 188, Jr.
Although he lined up as a free safety, Sparks still managed to make 14 sacks to go with 61 tackles.

DB — Michael Dunagan, Atkins, 6-2, 185, Jr.
Picked off eight passes to rank among the state leaders.

AP — Corey Platt Jr., Little Rock Christian Academy, 6-1, 185, Jr.
Top junior defender for the Warriors, Platt is ranked as the No. 4 junior in the state by 247 Sports.

P — Ethan Foster, Ozark, 6-2, 172, Sr.
One of the leading receivers for the Hillbillies, Foster ranks among the top punters in the state with a 40.5 yard average that included 14 inside the 20 yard line.
