Basketball Recap: Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience Comes Up Short

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 56-33 to the McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs. Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience was not able to make up for their defeat to McCluer South-Berkeley from their previous meeting back in January of 2020.

Leading McCluer South-Berkeley to victory were Dylan Merkle and Lamar Mccoy. Merkle almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards, while Mccoy posted ten points and three steals. Jelani Smith was another key player, putting up six points.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for McCluer South-Berkeley, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience will face off against Grandview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McCluer South-Berkeley, they and Clayton will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
