Baseball Recap: Fort Osage Wins Going Away Against Raytown South

While Fort Osage put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Raytown South. The Indians put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 11-0 win. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Fort Osage and bumps their season record up to 3-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Raytown South, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Osage will take on Chrisman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Raytown South, they will welcome Excelsior Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
