Shrine Catholic won against Greenhills on Saturday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Knights put the hurt on the Inter-City Baptist Chargers with a sharp 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Sean Murphy, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mike McGavin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Shrine Catholic and bumps their season record up to 12-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Inter-City Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Shrine Catholic will face off against Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Inter-City Baptist, they will be playing at home against Summit Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
