Basketball Recap: Beatty Comes Up Short

Beatty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 27-20 to the Lund Mustangs. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 29-19 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beatty's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lund, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Beatty will be taking part in a tournament against Carlin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lund, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-26 win against Word of Life Christian Academy on the 14th.
