It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Tulare Union The Tribe can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to the Cavaliers. Tulare Union's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Tulare Union had strong showings from Brayden Stevenson, who gained 238 total yards and three touchdowns, and Jordan Crisp, who threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns. Crisp has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last eight times he's played.
It was another big night for Bryson Donelson, who rushed for 281 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards for Central Valley Christian.
Tulare Union's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Central Valley Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
