Recap: Hancock Eagles vs. Chicago Vocational Cavaliers
The Hancock Eagles suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Chicago Vocational on the road and fell 59-26. That's two games in a row now that Hancock has lost by exactly 33 points.
Ron Thigpen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chicago Vocational, scoring 26 points. Thigpen hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Samuel Bellamy was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Chicago Vocational, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
Hancock will be playing at home against St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicago Vocational, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Longwood at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th.
