Basketball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

If Skyline was feeling good fresh off their 92-48 takedown of Saline last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Skyline Eagles took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Railsplitters on Friday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Skyline and Lincoln should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Skyline (ranked 67th) will meet Dexter (ranked 215th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lincoln will square off against Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 207 places (156 vs. 363).
