Softball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the North Stars. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 8-5 to the Stars when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Foothill will take on Tehachapi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Tehachapi has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. North knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge.
