Basketball Recap: Dusable's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

DuSable came into Thursday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past the Goode STEM Academy Knights with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 64-46.

DuSable's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Knight, who posted 19 points. Knight is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Malone, who earned 15 points.

The victory got DuSable back to even at 6-6. As for Goode STEM Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

DuSable will venture away from home to square off against Chicago Military Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Military Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will welcome Hirsch at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
