Softball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Eagle Point, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-7 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Eagle Point, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Eagle Point will challenge Mazama at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ashland will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Ashland again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
