Volleyball Recap: Austin Earlenbaugh Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Stow-Munroe Falls

Jackson won the last time they faced Stow-Munroe Falls and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Polar Bears had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Polar Bears.

Jackson took Stow-Munroe Falls into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-5.

Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Earlenbaugh, who had 24 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Earlenbaugh has posted over his last seven games. Another player making a difference was Gabe SCHMITT, who had 23 assists and seven digs.

When it comes to explaining why Stow-Munroe Falls lost, don't look at Luke Hoskinson. Despite the final result, he had 18 digs and two aces. Hoskinson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games he's played.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.
