Volleyball Recap: Quincy Gets the Win

Quincy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Corning Cardinals by a score of 2-0.

Marleigh Merino paced Quincy's offense, picking up seven kills. Merino got some help from Skylar McCarthy and her nine assists. McCarthy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Corning, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Quincy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against McKinleyville on the 23rd. As for Corning, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Chico on the 23rd.
