Volleyball Game Preview: Arrowhead Warhawks vs. Cedarburg Bulldogs

Arrowhead is a perfect 3-0 against Cedarburg since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warhawks will take on the Bulldogs. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Arrowhead comes in on three and Cedarburg on six.

Arrowhead is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Mukwonago by a score of 3-1.

Dylan Bonne was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 21 assists and seven digs. Those 21 assists gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Cedarburg faced Germantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Warhawks 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Warhawks since August 23, 2023.

Cedarburg was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22, 15-7.

Cedarburg's victory bumped their record up to 31-10. As for Arrowhead, their win bumped their record up to 24-14.

Arrowhead took their victory against Cedarburg in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
