Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Takes a Loss

Wisner-Pilger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pender Pendragons. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pendragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Wisner-Pilger was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Emerson Bellar paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up six kills. Bellar got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 14 assists.

Wisner-Pilger's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pender, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Wisner-Pilger will face off against Battle Creek on Thursday. As for Pender, they will square off against Cedar Bluffs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
