Soccer Game Preview: Arvin vs. Golden Valley

The Arvin Bears will face off against the Golden Valley Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arvin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Arvin fell victim to Del Oro and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Suns.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Golden Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They and Mira Monte finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Bulldogs happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 3rd.

Their goal came courtesy of Anthony Munoz, who's now up to nine this season.

With that draw, Golden Valley's record moves to 8-5-4. As for Arvin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-3.
