John Glenn won the last time they faced West Muskingum and things went their way on Friday too. The John Glenn Little Muskies put the hurt on the West Muskingum Tornadoes with a sharp 80-57 win. The Little Muskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Cj Dolan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5-for-8 to rack up 16 points in addition to six assists and five steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Briggs, who posted 13 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: John Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Several Tornadoes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carter Smith, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Cade Porter was another key player, putting up 12 points along with five assists and five boards.

John Glenn's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.6 points. As for West Muskingum, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Coming up, John Glenn will host Minerva at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Minerva's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for West Muskingum, they will face off against East Liverpool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Muskingum is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season.
