Basketball Recap: Las Cruces Comes Up Short

After soaring to 64 points the game before, Las Cruces was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 59-29 loss at the hands of the Hobbs Eagles. The contest marked the Bulldawgs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Las Cruces' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hobbs, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Las Cruces will square off against Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hobbs, they are taking a road trip to challenge Los Lunas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
